In the middle ’90s when I was getting out of car audio, there was a company that had just come out.  Image Dynamics.  They had a speaker for a car that was going to revolutionize the car audio world.  the waveguide!  well I dont know if it revolutionized anything, but they were really expensive and I didnt have the money to buy them at $1200 a pair.  fast forward 15 years and now they are a more reasonable $300 a pair.

I was told that installing these was pretty easy.  just match them to the underside of the dash and secure them with the supplied brackets.  More or less it was right.  They didnt fit exactly, so I had to modify the kick panel on the passenger side and move the fuel cutoff switch.  Only a minor modification in the big scheme of things.

The brackets, were a simple piece of bar stock with holes drilled into it and some nuts and bolts to connect it to the car.  I pre-drilled the urethane bodies of the horns to accept the screws for the brackets.  Installing them was pretty much as easy as they said.

After installing them, a quick run of wire to the HU and viola!  done!   they sound amazing and image much better than anything else I have ever used.  Once I add my amplifiers to them, I am sure they will sound even better!
