After alot of research and reading on forums I bit the bullet and bought the harbor freight 2HP dust collector.

I know stuff from hf is a bit of a turkey shoot, but so far I am pleased with it.  For $200 and a free 2 year replacment (no questions asked) warrantee, hard to
beat it.

 little modification to mount the rockler hose and dust rite connector.

 Added a DC to the table saw

I already cleaned up the shop and the basement.  Can tell a huge improvement on dust creation when I cut too.
